The polarity converters make it so much easier than having to re-wire your headlights' original wiring.
Converting earth switched vehicles headlight wiring when you upgrade older vehicle headlights, such as Hilux and Landcruiser, (around 98-2005), is a lot easier now thanks to the universal polarity converters.
Earth switched vehicles are kind of 'not normal', in that the headlights H4 H/L connector has a common terminal, low beam terminal - earth, high beam terminal - earth. An actively switched H4 headlight connector has earth, active low beam, and active high beam, (Over 80 out of 100 sales of our led headlights have not needed polarity converters).
If you are not sure if you need polarity converters, get your local auto electrician to check your electrical system to be certain.
